Noah's Emotional Arcade

by Esaú Mora

Oct 22, 8pm ET / 5pm PT

"In this intimate, limited seat Minema Live Theater experience, proud Xicanx-Latinx writer Esaú Mora delivers a wildly entertaining comedic satire play from a carefully constructed set (read: his NYC apartment which he has turned into a set for this play). Join Esaú, a proud immigrant child, to explore our collective human frailties and the practice of hope as we sail forward on this treacherous sea called Life!"

Esaú Mora is an NYC based actor-writer. His solo work, stand-up, and writing stand in service to the representation and exploration of the Xicanx-Latinx American experience. Learn more about Esaú here.

Chaotic Good

By Brian Bahe

Nov 9, 8pm ET / 5pm PT

"Gay, Native American comedian and writer Brian Bahewill do a series of characters and standup from an apartment in Harlem, New York that he is subleasing for the next 3 months. The characters plan to answer the questions: Why would a Native American ever be a Republican? What if we were still in quarantine and a priest (problematic, I know) was losing it? Obviously Brian will be touching on the things that are staples of his comedy such as bottoming, Arizona, and starchy foods, too!"

About MINEMA:

Founded in the shadow of Silicon Valley, our vision is to be the gathering place for stories worth telling and talking about.  At MINEMA, we bring together films, podcasts, and speakers and create virtual experiences that let you not just hear a story, but also connect directly with the creator and discuss issues with a diverse set of real people.

MINEMA is a movement. To share stories worth telling. To choose to listen.

To empower creators. To connect strangers. To stay curious. To get inspired.  Read more about our vision for creators here
